Ted Grogan

Executive Director

Ted had until recently been in commercial real estate for over 25 years prior to accepting the position of Executive Director for The Serenity Project.  His prior experiences as an owner representative with both SL Green (SLG) and Diamond Properties, LLC., had him focused on marketing, leasing for industrial and office properties, strategic planning for multi-family residential development, financial analysis of leasing transactions and property acquisition and dispositions.

During the past nine years, Ted was also volunteering his time to work with Connecticut Renaissance, a CARF-accredited organization providing health services for adults and adolescents living with addictions and/or mental health disorders.  Additionally, in 2018 Ted was certified as a Guide with Adventure Recovery, offering individuals and groups life-changing skills and instructions in outdoor leadership with a strong focus on mental health, wellness, and recovery awareness.

Kelly Keck

Board Member

Kelly is a licensed mental health counselor with 15 years of experience working in forensic settings, community clinics and non-profits. Previously, Kelly worked as the Assistant Director of Compliance at Columbia Psychiatry. Her invaluable experience in that role focused on program management, implementation of internal processes and compliance regulation. Over the last several years Kelly has specialized her clinical training in trauma identification and treatment in an effort to be able to serve the unique needs of her clients. In 2019, Kelly received certification in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) to assist in her trauma treatment. She has owned her own private practice for the last 6 years and co-owns a group private practice - Pleasantville Wellness Group. The goal when opening PWG has been to offer affordable therapeutic services to the community. Kelly hopes to continue to foster environments where therapeutic services can be accessible to people who desire them through her work as a board member with The Serenity Project.
